DW8502 Application Description
The DW8502 is a low-dropout linear step-down LED constant-current driver with PWM dimming function, developed by DONGWOON Korea. It requires only one external resistor to form a complete LED constant-current drive circuit. Adjusting this resistor sets the output current, with an adjustable range up to 2500mA. The DW8502 supports instant on/off switching, and the output can drive a wide VF range of LEDs in series. The output current can be adjusted up to 2.5A via an external RS resistor. Customers can also apply a PWM signal to the EN pin for 0%–100% precise LED brightness control.
